If you are older than thirty, you may recall the founder of Gestalt Therapy, the great Fritz Perls. Dr. Perls, a favorite of mine, wrote about "Scotoma" in his book: In and Out the Garbage Pail. Scotoma is a fascinating phenomenon that takes place within ones MIND realm, but manifests itself in the physical realm in certain interesting ways.
Dr. Perls, said that Scotoma was "well known" in modern mental health [or what we shall refer to as "BS&bp" (Behavioral Science and the oxymoron "behavioral psychology")]. Well, he was just being kind, or generous, because what is "well known" to BS&bp are the "symptoms" of Scotoma, and not the "cause".
And this takes us to the subject of this writing. Dr. Perls spoke of Scotoma as a "blind spot". That is, anyone within whom Scotoma was active was unable to "see" or "hear" certain things. He suggested that these "things" were being perceived by that persons MIND as a threat to what that MIND held hidden and completely repressed within itself. What he said is absolutely true.... however, the phenomenon of Scotoma has never been completely understood. Until now, and for you reading this, this instant.
It took a couple decades for me to "completely" understand this most elusive and fully Esoteric phenomenon. And in the process of its discovery, a number of new terms, symbols, and concepts had to be created. The reason is that nothing had been written about the "cause" of Scotoma.
These new terms, symbols, and concepts are: Apapsyche, DM=SI, Delusional Thinking or D-Think, Left-Hemisphere of the brain, MIND, and a few other concepts I will discuss as we continue. Allow me to quickly and briefly introduce what I have listed.
Apapsyche refers to the Operational Energy of the Soul. It uses two "Aspects" to perform its tasks: The Attn Aspect [the ability to focus and provide attention], and the Awar Aspect [which is the ability to experience the energy of what the Attn Aspect is focused upon].
DM=SI, stands for: "Defense Mechanism equals Subtle Insanity". This is the can't "see" or "hear" process by which ones MIND literally blocks ones "awareness". Remember the "Awar Aspect"? Well one cannot be aware of something if ones Awar Aspect is not experiencing that "something". I mean, this is not rocket science, right? To prevent the Awar Aspect from being able to experience something [such as something that ones MIND perceives as a threat to itself] all ones MIND has to do is to keep ones Attn Aspect fixed in the Left-Hemisphere of ones brain. Ones MIND does this by feeding Delusional Thinking [or D-Think] to the Left-Hemisphere [thinking half of the brain], and this requires ones Apapsyche to fix itself within the L-H to convert the MIND-level D-Think into brain-level "thinking". You may have to read this a few times to get your arms around the process?
How do I know this? I have a perhaps unique faculty in which I can withdraw my Attn Aspect of Apapsyche into its faculty of intuition, and from this vantage point, I can "observe" [so to speak] the workings of the MIND. I was born with this faculty, but set it aside at age three, when I was traumatized to the point of denial of all my psychic process while I permanently fixed my Attn Aspect of Apapsyche in the L-H of my brain. This held until 1978, as part of seeking to enhance my Masters in Psychology and Psychotherapy program , I underwent Gestalt Therapy and awoke my hidden psychic faculties [this was done in one session, by the way]. Over the last 30 years as a psychotherapist, I have discovered this dissociation from oneself is fairly common for people to do. There is much variation in the severity of this dissociation, or course.
And finally, back to the "blind spot" of the Progressive.
The Progressive Personality is someone who has: 1. Psychologically Dissociated him/herself from his or her Apapsyche [and thus has a diminished access to Conscience, Discretion, Knowledge and Empathetic Understanding], or CDK&EU. Or 2. He/she is someone who is in his/her first few lifetimes as a human being. That is, a "newbie" to the level of human being.... And has not accumulated much CDK&EU to tap with his/her intuition. The less CDK&EU one has, the more inclined one is toward dishonesty, cheating, greed, and the more ignorance of the Law of Karma, and the Purpose of Life one has. I refer to such a person as an "Intelack" personality.
The "key" is how much CDK&EU a person has accumulated. Sound strange to you? It should, if you have been raised in the West, and in particular, America. In America we pretty much deny and ignore: The Law of Karma; Reincarnation; And the fact that the Whole Human Being is composed of three simultaneously existing, and yet completely separate vibrational dimensions of Reality. This denial of Reality began in the early 1900's, when B.F. Skinner, a behavioral scientist, talked himself into the field of Psychology [which had been, for some 2,000 years, a study of the Esoteric dimensions of Man]. Today, BS&bp denies and ignores two-thrids of Man.
It is not surprising then, that the vast majority of Americans do likewise.
So the "blind-spot" of the Progressive is simply that he or she is a newbie to the level of human being. Physically, the Progressive looks just like everyone else. But within the Esoteric dimensions of the Progressive, he or she is seriously under developed. What fools us is that to "compensate" for this lack of CDK&EU, the Progressive is given a superior level of intellectualism. And in most cultures, this works out just fine [sort of]. But in America [where "personal responsibility" is the "keystone" of our Constitution] a diminished CDK&EU is a disaster. And that is what is happening in America today. A newbie has been elected President. God help America.

PROGRESSIVISM EXPOSED
Greetings, and welcome to some enlightening and generally unknown facts about the Progressive personality, or Progressivism in general. Let us differentiate between the person whose thoughts and behaviors are those we point to as "liberal" or "Progressive", and the Psychology that "causes" a person to have such thoughts and to engage in actions based on such thoughts.
I use the symbol [P-ism], pronounced "P-is_um", to refer to the Psychological structure ... which determines the Personality of those individuals who hold and express thoughts and engage in actions that we would identify as "liberal" or "Progressive". The symbol [P-ism] is used in an attempt to separate out that which "causes" the Progressive to be a Progressive, and to explain what "causes" him or her to make the "choices" he or she makes. Although the Progressive will argue that his choices are his own, and they are based on what he "thinks" about what he "sees" in Life. [P-ism] questions both this "thinking" and the validity of what the Progressive "sees".
It is precisely the "thinking" of the Progressive Personality that we must question, and expose as to its "delusional" nature. And to do this, we must take an unusual look at the Esoteric dimensions of the Progressive Personality that are rarely discussed. We must also take a look at the Purpose of Life, the Ladder of Life, the Law of Karma, the concept of Fate Karma, and the Esoteric MIND itself. Discussing the MIND of Man is rarely done. All of this thrusts us into the Esoteric dimensions of Man, and of Life........ Unfamiliar areas of Life that are simply not discussed in America.
How one "views" Life, if indeed one is capable of "seeing" beyond the "illusion of life", is unique for each person. And the notion that there is a difference between the Reality of Life and the illusion of life is unfamiliar to most of us. That is, it is the MIND of the Progressive [and the Fate Karma that he or she designed for this life] that determines what the Progressive will think, and how much of Life he or she can "intuit"... And "intuition" is the ONLY way to perceive the Reality of Life, by the way. And yes, we are now entering the realms of the Esoteric dimensions of Man. The symbol [P-ism] refers to the operational dynamics of these Esoteric dimensions of Man that "cause" Progressivism.
Let us begin by explaining that the Progressive type personality is Psychological in nature [that is, it is caused by a subtle lack of one Esoteric something, and an over abundance of another Esoteric something]. But this explains very little, right?
To comprehend what "causes" a Progressive personality I must provide you with an extraordinary mini-course in the Psychology of Man. If you are a normal human being, then you will comprehend this mini-course.... however, if you are yourself a Progressive personality, you will not likely be able to comprehend [your MIND will not allow you to acknowledge] what I am about to reveal.

Now let me shock you by saying that if those Americans who are not capable of awakening to what Progressivism intends to do to Amereica, do not decisively "act" to reverse the direction of America this year [2010], the America that the founding fathers gave us will be destroyed. And in its place will be instituted the most gosh awful cobbled socialism the world has ever had to endure.
President Obama is a Progressive personality. This means he is gifted with intellectualism, and as "compensation" for his lack of access to his intuition and Conscience, Discretion, Knowledge and Empathetic Understanding [or CDK&EU], he holds a grossly mistaken view of Life. This is perhaps explained by introducing the reader to the Ladder of Life.
As explained, if you took the time to click on the resource, the Ladder of Life is an analogy to help me convey an image that we can work with together.
Each Soul that commits to Life - which means commits to this continuing cycle of birth and death, will be found perched on some rung of the Ladder of Life. The rung on which one is perched is determined by how much "Spiritual Evolution" one has earned? And one earns this by completing Karma over many, many lifetimes. And I have just introduced two additional bits that are little known in America: Karma and reincarnation.
The term Karma refers to the Law of Karma, which is the primary and essential Law of Life. Every living thing is subject to the Law of Karma. This Law is often explained thusly: As ye sow, so shall ye reap. Put simply, every action you take will return to you at some point. If not this life, then another. There is no hurry, one has an unlimited number of lifetimes available to one.
One "completes" ones Karma by fully accepting the action one took against another when it is returned to oneself.... however, the usual reaction is not one of acceptance and thankfulness, but one of anger and resentment. And resentment or anger simply initiates an additional Karmic "due bill" which is stored upon some MINDLine within ones MIND realm.
